Crankcase Splitting Tool (AM) for Stihl and Husqvarna Chainsaw

Hi there friends of OBM, by popular request we have the After Market Crankcase Splitter to help some of you get that job done. One thing for sure is that without one of these, it's a very difficult thing to do and many of you have broken crankshafts when you do the wrong thing and start belting the end of the crank with a hammer and so on (never good!)
So here we have an inexpensive tool that is ready to go to push the crank from the crankcase halves, it's quite a simple task really, you just have to drive out the alignment pins (2 of them) before attempting to split them and then do one side followed by the other.
One thing that is critical is to put some oil onto the pressure screw as this aids disassembly for sure.
Please note however that whilst this tool suits most chainsaws and small engines, it will not suit all of them.
This tool replaces Husqvarnas / OEM part no: 502 51 61-01.
