Here we have a Genuine STIHL Piston Ring Compressor Tool or a Piston Strap as i prefer to call it.
These are manufactured specially for some of the models where the skirt of the piston is sloping... mostly the later models of course.
This Special Service Tool really does make life easy and reduces the risk of breaking a ring during the reassembly process.
A must have bit of kit for the chainaw technician.
Oh there is also a STIHL manufactured Piston Rest or Piston Block which is designed to support the piston during reassembly too, i hope to have this listed too, the number of that one is... 5910 893 5302
