STIHL 064, 066, MS660 Heavy Duty Clutch Assembly by PT # 1122 160 2002

Hi there freinds of OBM!
Here we have a super product from Precision Tooling (Italy) for your trusty  1122 Series Chainsaw, namely the 064, 066E, 066L and MS660 classic models.
Please note this product will unfortuately not fit the MS661 saws.
This Clutch is special in that it is Heavy Duty. What makes it Heavy Duty is that the casting is heavier and thicker, which trust me, makes a difference!. The thickness as seen in the last photograph (the PT one on the left - genuine STIHL one on the right). As you can clearly see the left one (PT) is 1.75mm thicker, very noticeable right.The other thing is that the edge casting thickness is much greater (ie more metal) and thus this HD PT Clutch is a better weighted (heavier) clutch too, aiding Clutch Throw and Clutch Grip.
Anyone who has a solid understanding of how a centrifugal clutch works will deduce that shoe thickness, shoe weight- overall clutch weight, all have a positive effect on grip thereby aiding the torque of your saws motor to drive the chain (without totally unnecessary, yet all to common clutch slip).
All in, all this is a must have part if you wish to get the best out of your saw.
Clutch Grip is KING! as it is the part that Drives our chain.
Sadly this absolutely essential part is one that STIHL engineers and Chinese After Market Suppliers keep making thinner and lighter, kind of weird if you ask me.
