STIHL 41 inch Duromatic E Hard Nose Chainsaw Bar (NLA) Classic! # 3002 000 8058

Here we have an iconic chainsaw bar,that is No Longer Available, which is such a shame.
This bar is listed s 41 inch but in reality it is a 42 inch bar, (not sure what happend there and it is .063 gauge
I have collected a few of these but for sure they are very hard to get hold of.
STIHL manufactured these in Germany probably in the 90's for there large capacity saws like the 051, 070, 075, 076, 084, 088, 090, 090G, and the MS720, MS780 but of course it will also fit the newer MS881 saw too.
This one takes 123 or 124 drive links in .404 depending on what saw model you have. Alternatively you could run 3/8 chain too if you were slabbing for example. With Hard Nose bars you can run any chain you want really as there is no sprocket regulating what you do!
These bars are superbly manufactured with absolute precision and they are highly collectable for those with those old iconic saws.
As many of you saw collectors know, these old classics in good condition are now worth a lot of money and if you have the corrrect old school bar to suit, well it just makes a better package all round.
Of course we would like you to use the bar too, that is always better for us to see you making money with your equipment, but we do also appreciate that some of you will want these for a static display and these are the best for that.
These wide (110mm) bars are boss for tracking, like making a straight cut, and really you can do no better than this bar if you are docking or even felling big trees / logs. It will not let you down ever.
For those new to Hard Nose (Duromatic) bars just remember to run your chain around 10% looser than you would on a sprocket nose bar and do not forget to tighten the chain a tad if it starts to hang below the bar during use. Also make sure you have adequate lubrication too, like a heavy duty oil pump helps too.
The third last photo shows the aluminium knock out plug close to the tip that you can punch out to fit the STIHL helper handle if you are lucky enough to have one of those.
This part is priced due to its rarity and once they are gone there will be no more.
