Here we have a pair of Genuine STIHL 1124 Series Straight (to my mind Standard) Dogs which fit all of the 1124 Series of saws, namely the 084, 088, MS780, MS880 and MS881 saws.
It is true that these newer style of lighter dogs were came out with the introduction of the MS881 but there is nothing stopping you using them on all of the 1124 range.
Why STIHL manufactured these is they are lighter yet still strong and unless you are ripping posts these are a great choice for general purpose work, especially if you are wanting to keep the weight down.
Here if you need a set to freshen up your saw anyways...
