STIHL Genuine Improved Inner Dog Spike / Falling Spike # 1144 660 0800

Here we have a Genuine New Improved Style of Straight (Inline) Dog Spike / Falling Spike which fits most of the medium saws in the STIHL range.
It nice to see that STIHL can improve their products and one big problem they had was the nut on the top of their inner dogs used to work loose and this would chop the soft magnesium out around the bolt, weakening the crankcase. Like it's  not surprising that the cases break on that upper corner is it when such things happen. Well this design stops that as the Captive nut is way less prone to working loose.
 
Fits just so many of the saws from the 038 up to the 661 model.
