STIHL Genuine 064, early 066 Magnesium Air Filter Base Cover # 1122 120 3411
Here we have a Genuine STIHL Magnesium (yeh real metal!) Air Filter Base Cover or Base Plate that fits the 064 saws and the early 066 Flat Tops as well.
There was two versions of these and they both had the same part number, this is the later improved version, this one goes with the improved HD2 Air Filter part no... 0000 140 4407. So this later version does not require the rubber oval seal to be fitted, as STIHL got smart and put the seal on the base of the air filter instead.
Please note that the second last picture shows the early type of Air Filter Base Cover and the last picture is this later style.
They sure do not make parts like this anymore... it's all gone to plastic nowadays
So if you're working on your old classic and need this part, well here it is!
There parts are getting harder to get hold of nowadays and soon they will be gone.
