STIHL Genuine MS651 MS661 MS661CM Air Filter Base Cover # 1144 140 1200

Hi there friends of OBM.
Here we have a new listing...
The Genuine STIHL Air Filter Base Cover or Base Plate for the 1144 Series of saws, namely the MS651, MS661, MS661C and MS661CM.
This part covers the carburettor box housing and also provides the base for the Air Filter to seal on to, in addition to that, is the protruding section that is the fixing post for the twist lock Air Filter Cover Twist Lock Screw.
That sadly is the weakest part of this design and that fixing post is the bit that can get smashed off if your saw has copped a knock - (see picture no 4).
