Here we have a extremely rare part manufactured in the 1960's and NLA anywhere.

All of you who are in the know would be aware of the value / collectibility of the 1106 Series Contra / Lightning Chainsaws and how as the years go by prices of the 1106 series continue to rise.
The biggest problem with these saws, given their date of manufacture is that many have a worn or damaged piston / cylinder. That much I know to be true, having stripped down a great many of them over the years. I could honestly say that 7 or 8 out of ten are in need of a new piston and or cylinder assy.
Priced accordingly, with view of the rarity of this part, which if still available from any dealer would retail for in excess of $1000 AUD.
